Questions we get asked a lot.

Straight answers about websites, pricing, timelines and marketing — no jargon, no runaround. If your question isn't here, just get in touch.

Websites & design

Word of mouth is great — but it has a ceiling. The moment someone hears about your business, the first thing they do is Google you. If they find nothing, or find something that looks outdated, you lose them before they ever pick up the phone.

A website works for you 24/7 — answering questions, building trust and generating enquiries even while you're busy doing the actual work. It also opens up SEO and paid ads, which can bring in customers who've never heard of you at all.

Most business websites are ready within 4–6 weeks from the day we start. E-commerce stores or larger projects typically take 8–12 weeks.

The biggest factor in timeline is how quickly we receive content and feedback from you. We set clear milestones from the start so you always know what's happening and when.

You don't have to provide everything. If you have a logo, photos or existing text — great, we'll use them. If not, we can write the copy for your website based on a conversation about your business, and source suitable images.

We handle as much or as little as you need. The goal is to make the process easy for you, not add more to your plate.

Always. Every website we build works perfectly on phones, tablets and desktops. Most of your customers will find you on mobile, so this is never an afterthought — it's built in from the very start.

Yes — website redesign is one of our most popular services. If your current site looks outdated, loads slowly or just isn't bringing in enquiries, we can rebuild it from scratch or give it a full refresh.

We'll review what you have, tell you honestly what's working and what's not, and give you a clear plan for improving it.

Yes, if that's what you want. We can build on WordPress or another platform that gives you a simple editor to update text, photos and pages yourself with no technical knowledge.

Alternatively, many of our clients prefer to just send us changes and we handle it for them — usually within 24–48 hours. Both options work fine.

Pricing & payments

Our websites start from £500 for a simple business site and go up to £5,000+ for larger or e-commerce projects. The price depends on what you need — number of pages, features, platform and how much content work is involved.

We always provide a clear, fixed quote before starting so there are no surprises. No hidden fees, no extras you didn't agree to.

Yes. For most projects we split payment into milestones — typically 50% to start and 50% on completion. For larger projects we can arrange a three-stage payment plan.

We're flexible and happy to discuss what works for you — just ask when we talk.

The website itself is a one-off cost. You will need to pay for domain registration (typically £10–15/year) and hosting (from around £5–15/month depending on your site). We'll advise you on the best options and can set these up for you.

Ongoing services like SEO, ads management or website maintenance are optional monthly services you can add if you want to keep growing.

Yes. For ongoing services like SEO, Google Ads, social media ads or website maintenance, we work on a monthly retainer. Prices start from £300/month depending on the service and scope.

Many clients start with a website project and then add a monthly service once they see results. There's no pressure — we'll recommend what makes sense for your situation.

SEO & Google

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is what helps your business show up on Google when people search for what you offer. Think "plumber in London" or "best restaurant Canterbury" — SEO is how you get into those results.

If you want customers to find you without paying for ads every month, yes — you need it. It takes time to build but the results last. We set up solid SEO foundations on every website we build, and offer ongoing SEO as a separate monthly service if you want to rank higher and faster.

Honestly — it takes time. Most businesses start seeing meaningful results in 3–6 months. Local SEO (getting found in your area) tends to be faster than national SEO.

Anyone who promises you page 1 of Google in a week is not being honest with you. We'll tell you exactly what to expect based on your industry and location.

Local SEO focuses on getting your business found by people searching in your area. It includes optimising your Google Business profile, building local citations and targeting location-based keywords like "electrician in Canterbury".

For most small businesses — restaurants, trades, garages, local services — local SEO is more valuable than trying to rank nationally. It gets you in front of people who are ready to buy, nearby.

Yes — every website we build includes on-page SEO foundations as standard. This means proper page structure, meta tags, fast loading speed and mobile optimisation — all the technical basics Google needs to index your site correctly.

Ongoing SEO (monthly content, link building, ranking improvements) is a separate service you can add on top.

Paid ads & marketing

Google Ads puts you at the top of search results immediately — but you pay each time someone clicks, and the moment you stop paying, you disappear. SEO builds your ranking organically over time — it's slower to start but free traffic once it's working.

For most businesses, the best approach is both — ads to get results quickly while SEO builds in the background for long-term growth.

It depends on your industry, location and goals. For most local businesses, a starting budget of £300–£500/month for ads is enough to test and see results. We manage the ad budget separately from our management fee.

We'll always tell you our honest recommendation for your situation — we're not going to push you to spend more than makes sense.

Yes, we can manage ads for an existing website. However, if your website isn't in good shape — slow, confusing or not built to convert visitors — ads will underperform. We'll always be honest with you about this before spending your budget.

Working with us

Simple — fill in our contact form, send us a WhatsApp or give us a call. Tell us a bit about your business and what you're looking for. We'll get back to you within 24 hours with honest advice and a clear next step. No hard sell, no obligation.

No. We're a remote team and we work with businesses across the UK and internationally. Everything is done online — calls, file sharing, reviews and approvals. Location is never a barrier.

We don't disappear after launch. Every project includes a support period where we fix any issues and make small adjustments. After that, you can continue with a monthly maintenance plan or just contact us when you need changes.

Many clients choose to add SEO or ads management after launch to keep growing their results. We'll recommend what makes sense for your business at that point.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours — usually much sooner. During an active project, we're available via WhatsApp, email or call and typically reply within a few hours during working days.
